The classic Mel Brooks 1974 parody horror film Young Frankenstein is set to be recreated in all of its hysterical glory by a talented group at UA Theatre & Dance!

The wildly amusing story reluctant scientist, Dr. Frankenstein….Frohnkensteen, as he undertakes unfinished family business.

Alabama student actors Daniel B. Hulsizer and Dylan Guy Davis joined my in studio to talk about their roles in the production!

Daniel is taking on the role of Igor. We joked during the interview about the pronunciation for Igor being eye-gor and not e-gor, as seen in the movie.

Here's the clip from the movie when Dr. Frederick Frankenstein meets Igor in a funny exchange on to pronounce their names.

Dylan is playing Harold the blind hermit. Here, I found a movie clip with Harold and the monster. Below, see the blind man miss on his attempt to light a cigar in friendship.
