Simply shocking and unreal is the initial reaction after Will Ferrell nailed a cheerleader in the face with a basketball. The incident happened in New Orleans at the Pelicans/L.A. Lakers game.

The actor was found on the court during halftime with cheerleaders on both sides. He was there to attempt making a half court shot. As he spoke on the mic, it was clear that he was drunk. Then, he goes to take the shot and it goes horribly wrong! Will Ferrell ends up launching the ball straight into the face of a cheerleaders. The impact knocked the girl over. The crowd erupts in boos as security chased after Will to eject him from the game.
