Walk MS: West Alabama To Be Held at Snow Hinton Park Saturday, February 28, 2015 [VIDEOS]

This year's Walk MS event will he held at Snow Hinton Park on Saturday, February 28, 2015.  The walk begins at 9 a.m., and the community is invited to participate in this exciting event. Walk MS is a vital part of the MS movement and is a day for West Alabama to celebrate hope for the future.

Participants can enjoy the park and participate in a 1, 2 or 3 mile walking route. Not interested in walking but want to be a part of the day? Come celebrate with us by being a VOLUNTEER or VIRTUAL WALKER! Walk MS is a celebration and we want everyone there! Register now, connect with others and start fundraising today.

Walk MS is a rain or shine event – in the event of predicted rain we will provide information about the rain plan via phone call or e-mail so be sure to include the correct information when registering.

Please arrive early to check-in, spend time with your teammates and enjoy the pre-event announcements and warm-up. Refreshments will be provided but feel free to bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy.

Looking for ways to make the event even more fun for your team? Create a TEAM T-SHIRT, set up a TEAM TENT in our Team Tent Village, hold a Community Event to raise money for your team prior to the walk and come up with a creative TEAM NAME.

Cash and checks can be turned in before and after the walk by mailing to the chapter office (801 Shades Creek Parkway, Suite 100B - Birmingham, AL 35209) or turned in on the day of the walk at the check-in/registration area.

Checks should be made payable to 'The National Multiple Sclerosis Society' or NMSS. Please write the participant name or team name and your walk site in memo line to receive credit for prizes/recognition.
