Update on Tuscaloosa’s Fashion for Food Benefit Event [VIDEO]

Coming up Friday night (April 22, 2016) Street Jam Talent is hosting Fashion for Food to benefit Secret Meals for Hungry Children. The event organizer Barbie Perry talked with B101.7's Greg Thomas on what we can expect.

Secret Meals for Hungry Children is a local organization making a difference for our schoolkids, an organization near and dear to Barbie. Those attending Fashion for Food can help support this organization.

As for the event itself, several premiere Tuscaloosa boutiques will showcasing trendy spring fashions in a show featuring the hottest models. In between showing different clothing lines, there will be various performances from singing to dancing. It's been pretty tight lipped on who and what will be performed. But, Barbie says we will all be blown away!

• Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
• Show starts at 6 p.m.
• Miss Tuscaloosa Jessica Proctor is the emcee
• Dance party follows
