One of the saddest moments in recent television history may have been when Beth Greene was brutally murdered on season 5 of 'The Walking Dead.'

Hershel Greene's sweet, innocent daughter is gone forever and as far as I'm concerned, the hit AMC television show will never be the same again. But, that's not why we're here! Emily Kinney, the actress who portrayed Beth, is alive and well and bringing her band and her beautiful voice to Birmingham tonight as part of their "This Is War" tour!

'The Walking Dead' fans are familiar with Kinney's voice, namely her moving cover of Tom Waits' "Hold On," and a haunting rendition of the traditional Scottish song "The Parting Glass," both which she sang on the show and the latter of which she sang with co-star Lauren Cohen and appears on 'The Walking Dead: AMC Original Soundtrack, Vol. 1.'

Before signing onto the hit TV show in 2011, Kinney released her 'Blue Toothbrush' EP and in 2013 followed up with 'Expired Love' EP, which features seven original songs written by the songstress. This past December she released her most recent single "Rockstar." Kinney's music has been reviewed and featured in Rolling Stone Magazine, Refinery29, People, Entertainment Weekly, Spin, Relix Magazine, American Songwriter, and Fuse among others.

The newly opened coffeehouse and live music venue Saturn is hosting the show tonight with special guests Dylan Gardner and Adam Tressler. Doors open at 8 and the show starts at 9. Tickets are just $17 at the door.
