Redbox has released the results of survey ranking the states who rent the most horror movies. Look who made the Top 10 list, any guess who is #1?

The interesting thing to note with the top 10, seven were southern states. West Virginia led the way craving the scares the most and holding the #1 spot. This is based on having the most horror movie rentals by kiosk in 2014.  Alabama screamed up the chart to #5.  See the rest of the Top 10 below.

Out of all 2014 horror movies rented at Redbox to date, Carrie (2013) is the most rented title. The others most rented are Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. Devil’s Due, Insidious Chapter 2 and Oculus. In 2013, the most popular horror rental during the week of Halloween was World War Z.

Also according to the survey, nearly half of Americans (48%) say it wouldn't feel like Halloween without watching a scary movie or two.  Besides movies, walking through a haunted house is another tradition for the season.  Have you heard about 'Malice in Otherworld'?  It has people all around Tuscaloosa and West Alabama talking.  The haunted house is located on Main Avenue in Northport.  Just click the link below for more info and save money with advance tickets.
