No; you did not misread that title. A man actually tried to pick up the labor and delivery nurse who was attending to HIS WIFE while she was IN LABOR having HIS CHILD. You couldn't make this up if you tried.

The ad, which was posted to the Jacksonville, North Carolina Craigslist four days ago, reads as follows:

This is probably a long shot but you were the nurse taking care of my wife while she was having our baby. I enjoyed our eye contact and would really like to talk to you more. Maybe tomorrow I will be there most of the day and I will bump in to you in the hall way or see you at the nurse station.

SUPER CLASSY DUDE RIGHT HERE, Y'ALL. I'm sure the aforementioned nurse will totally swoon at the sight of this not-at-all-creepy ad and immediately fall in love with this dashing gentleman. Who wouldn't? What lady can resist such charm?
