Wow, it has been weeks since the Crimson Tide had a football game at Bryant-Denny Stadium. They're back! Let's 'slide' into the game weekend with this Flashback Friday spotlight, driven by Townsend Honda!

Why don't you slide? Slide? Right about now, you may be thinking, "what is the flashback song?" "The 'Cha Cha Slide', 'Electric Slide', some kind of slide song?" No, but close. The song is simply titled, 'Slide.' The Goo Goo Dolls song that was a HUGE hit 16 years ago, in the fall of 1998. Sure, let's watch Texas A&M continue to slide when the Tide ROLLS! Or, let's watch Bama 'slide' up the poll... Sure, this getting a bit out of control.

Let's talk Goo Goo Dolls- back in the late 90s, these guys were churning out hits, as good as tailgate 'slider.' Somebody, show some pride and 'slide' the mustard over here? Sure, that just happened, another slide play on words.
