Sights and Sounds from the ‘Face in the Window’ Fest and 5K Race in Carrollton, Alabama

If you have never been to Carrollton, the old courthouse is smack dab in the middle of town at an intersection.  Everyone has to drive around the courthouse to get through town.  This is where the face looks down at everyone.  Yes, from the attic you can see "the face in the window."

The area was definitely dressed up for the occasion with scarecrows!  One had a skeleton in an old pickup with a Bama hat.  I joked, this guy wasn't going to make it to Athens in time.  Ha!

The 5K first thing in the morning was well organized, with the course taking around the courthouse.
