B101.7's Kidd Kraddick Morning Show welcomed the brains behind Ted 2, Seth MacFarlane! He talks about why he trashed a completed script and his inspiration.

Could it be?  Could the nearly impossible be happening here, a sequel movie be just as good or even better than the original?  J-Si thinks that happened with Ted 2, which is now playing in theaters.

At one point this interview with Seth MacFarlane almost didn't happen due to technical difficulties.  Luckily, the issues were corrected and the inside scoop was on!

Here's an interesting nugget shared, the original completed script for the movie was tossed away. Trashed.  But, why?  Seth explains, after having the Ted 2 script completed, he read one for a movie already in production. That movie, Meet the Millers. IMDb explains the plot as, "A veteran pot dealer creates a fake family as part of his plan to move a huge shipment of weed into the U.S. from Mexico." Apparently, the Ted 2 script was too similar and Seth MacFarlane just trashed it!

Now, it was time to start over. Of all things, inspiration was found reading a Civil War book. Go figure. Below, give a listen to the full interview on B101.7's Kidd Kraddick Morning Show to hear the explanation. Plus, more on casting another key character in the movie to play with Ted (the teddy bear character voiced by Seth MacFarlane) and Mark Wahlberg.
