They say Pauly the young male orange tabby cat enjoys the limelight, that's good since he's our B101.7 Pet of the Week with the Humane Society of West Alabama.

Pauly's orange color is a light peachy frosting with a pink nose, and bright yellow eyes.

The cat house shelter volunteers have observed that Pauly likes to steal the limelight from other cats, and that he will either steal all the toys to gain your attention or just tug on your shoelaces to make you look down.

Pauly has shown to be gentle and sweet with children. His friendly ways also shows with a tendency to snuggle with other cats. Most of all, he prefers to snuggle with a person.

If you enter the room wondering, where's Pauly? Well, you'll probably find him under a blanket.

The Humane Society tells us that Pauly has developed a condition known as "pillow pads." This is where his pads are very sensitive and sometimes require ointment to keep them well. This in no way deters him from being a loveable cat.

Pauly is negative for FIV/ FeLK, current on vaccinations and neutered.

If you are interested in giving Pauly the forever home he wants and deserves, visit the Humane Society of West Alabama cat adoption center in Northport located at 2430 36th Street (behind Pizza Hut). The shelter is open on Saturday between 10 AM and 2 PM.
