Man Dies in Boating Accident on Lake Tuscaloosa

Authorities say that the man and a friend were boating after 10 pm Monday night when their boat hit a sea wall. The passenger survived while emergency crews spent two hours searching for the second man who was eventually found a few feet away from the accident site.

According to reports, the incident happened near Country Club Drive and the Alabama Highway 69 North bridge.
