The best way to really enjoy a fireworks show on the 4th of July is to crank up the patriotic tunes, and we've got you covered!

Celebration on the River is happening on Monday, July 4th at Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on the Black Warrior River. It's completely free to sit inside the amphitheater, and it really is the best place to see the fireworks. You're family will have access to cold drinks and snack, plus restrooms.

The Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra will be performing leading up to the start of the fireworks, then it will be soundtrack of red, white and blue favorites. We're talking songs like 'God Bless the USA,' 'America the Beautiful,' and 'The Star-Spangled Banner.'

If for whatever reason you're not planning to attend the free festivities at the amphitheater, we'll have music. That's right, B101.7 will be playing a block of patriotic songs starting at 9 p.m. on Monday night (July 4), the same time of Tuscaloosa's fireworks celebration. We want to thank our sponsor for helping to make it possible, Hungry Howie's and Dwayne's Towing.

The party is more than just that night, all Independence Day weekend, turn up B101.7 for the fun! We'll be playing the songs you know and love, and will be sure to include the best summer songs! Oh, if you're headed to beach, take with us with you there with the radioPup app for your smartphone or tablet.

Happy Birthday 'Merica!!
