Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter invites everyone to a fun day planned with food, activities and DOGS! It's the Bark Out on Friday (July 3rd), from 10am until 5:30pm.

The fun play with the dogs will include frisbee in the yard and pool time!  Also, come hungry, as sack lunches will be on sale for $2!  Guess what is being served? It's the 4th of July weekend and this is a dog adoption event.... oh you know it, hot dogs!  Plus chips and a soda for only $2!  While there, grab some free watermelon and cookies.  A fresh batch of lemonade will be available too!

Bark Out will also be giving away door prizes during the day, and selling $1 raffle tickets for a doggie basket. Bring a garbage bag of soda cans for recycling and get a free raffle ticket.

Maybe do a little shopping during the 2015 Bark Out, and buy a great looking Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter t-shirt for $12.  Plus, see dog collars and leashes, which are handmade by the talented volunteer Mary Calhoun.

If you're looking to adopt or just want to come visit the dogs, either way drop by Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter on 35th Street for the Independence Day Bark Out! It's happening Friday between 10am and 3:30pm. Click here for a map.
