Check Out This Free Crock Pot I Scored Just By Buying Groceries!
The best things in life are free... especially when those freebies are awesome things that you can use to make other awesome things. I'm talking about the gift that keeps on giving, y'all. I'm talking about the FREE CROCK POT I got this weekend at my grocery store!
When it comes to grocery buyin', my heart and my wallet belong to Winn-Dixie. Sure, Publix is rad--the stores are always pristine and the employees are so nice that you kind of wonder if the store is a front for some kind of cult--but in my eyes, Publix can't compete. They don't offer the awesome incentives that Winn Dixie does.
My husband and I are loyal WD shoppers because we're all about some Fuel Perks--Winn-Dixie's reward program allows you to earn credits that save you money when you fill up at Shell. I'm addicted to Fuel Perks. ONE TIME I BOUGHT GAS FOR FIFTY CENTS A GALLON.
That's a sweet deal when you're ballin' on a budget. Anyway, my fave store is currently running a "free appliances" program. You can score a counter-top appliance like a griddle, coffee maker, Crock Pot, etc... all you have to do is shop. You are awarded a points for your purchases; 30 points get you the appliance half-off, and 60 points get you the appliance FOR FREE.
I'm always saving mad cash at Winn Dixie. Look at my receipts from yesterday.
After we checked out, the cashier informed us that we'd earned enough points to get a free appliance. I literally ran to the display and grabbed a Crock Pot like it was A Christmas Story and I'd just been given a Red Ryder BB Gun. I checked out, and I got this brand new Crock Pot TOTALLY FREE. How awesome is that? I even put that bad boy to use last night; I made a cheesy chicken and broccoli bake with wild rice and it was so, so good.
Just look at my new baby.
Now I've got to end this post and ghost out of here because I need to get my Pinterest on--there are Crock Pot recipes to be found and pinned and made and eaten...
