Chick-fil-A at Tuscaloosa South is partnering with Toys for Tots for a holiday toy drive on Tuesday, Dec. 8 from 5 to 7 pm!

Customers who bring a new, unwrapped toy to the restaurant will receive a free Chick-fil-A Nugget Kid’s Meal (4-count) for each donated item. The organization will collect the toys and distribute them to children in need throughout the community.

During the event, children can enjoy crafts and coloring as well as a visit from the Santa Cow.

Franchise Operator William Boulware said,

We hope the community will come out and support the Toys for Tots toy drive to help bring holiday cheer to those going through difficult times. We look forward to the presentation of the toys, knowing children will be touched by our community’s generosity.

For those who may not be familiar, Toys For Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.

The mission of the Toys For Tots program is,

To collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

Toys For Tots believes that through each toy received, a message of hope is sent to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.

Again, the Chick-fil-A at Tuscaloosa South Toys For Tots holiday toy drive will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 8 from 5 to 7 pm at their restaurant at 4900 Old Greensboro Rd. in Tuscaloosa.
