Check Out The Dress That Broke The Internet [PHOTOS]

One day, we'll be old; our hair will be gray, our eyes full of wisdom, and we will tell our grandchildren enthusiastic tales not of conquests or defeats--but of the time a dang dress broke the internet. Are you #goldandwhite or #blackandblue?

A photo of the dress above was uploaded to Tumblr and pretty much broke the internet within a few hours--literally half of the friends I have on Facebook were posting about one stupid (and actually, kind of tacky) dress. This is a seriously divisive subject for some--everyone from Taylor Swift to James Franco has weighed in on this thing. 

Some people see the dress as being white and gold. Others see this dress as black and blue. Apparently there is some scientific reason as to why it can be perceived in such different hues. What do you see?

Honestly--I can see it both ways. Like, if I dim my phone a little, it's a blue and black dress. If I jack the brightness up on that sucker, it's a white and gold dress.

Either way--it makes my head hurt. And it's still a tacky dress.
