Are you headed to New Orleans on New Year's Day to see Alabama play Ohio State in the Allstate Sugar Bowl College Football Playoff Game? Why not ride in style on a charter bus. Yeah, let someone else take care of the driving, and enjoy the ride with other Tide fans!

Even if you don't have tickets to the game, wouldn't it be a ton of fun just to ride down there?! Hang out in the French Quarter yelling "Roll Tide" around others fans. Happy New Year to that!

The University of Alabama Retirees Association (TUARA) is offering bus service. The nice thing about it, a part of the proceeds from this trip will help fund the TUARA sponsored Robert E. Witt Book Scholarships for First Generation UA students.

The Facts:

  • Charter bus will leave from Coleman Coliseum at 8:00 a.m. on January 1 and return to Tuscaloosa immediately after the game.
  • Complimentary parking will be available at the Coliseum throughout the day.
  • Price per person is $75 and includes water, soft drinks, and snacks.  Game tickets are not included.

Make your seat reservation by calling Carol Wright at 205-454-8622, or by email: cwwright4@comcast.net.  Please include with your reservation your email address and cell phone numbers for each rider. Reservation deadline is Saturday, December 27.
