Easter is on the way, and your kids have a chance to celebrate; check out these local Easter Egg hunts and take your family to join in the fun!

Midtown Village will host EasterFest from 10:00 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, March 28. They'll have free gift bags containing from $5, $10, $25, $50, $100 or $500 in Gift Cards starting at 10 a.m. on The Green. There will be a free Children's Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny at 11 a.m  on The Green--plus Free Shaved Ice, Face Painting, Kids' Easter Crafts, Bounce Slide and Bounce House.

EggFest will be held from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at 11300 Terrapin Lane in Northport. They have 5,000+ stuffed eggs for kids to hunt, plus activity booths, a petting zoo, face painting, and more--plus an appearance from the Easter Bunny. Admission for adults is $5.

Taylorville Baptist Church is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 29, beginning at 1 p.m. The event is free, and the church is located at 7201 Moundville Lane, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405.

The University of Alabama's Panhellenic Association will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt Sunday, March 29, on the front lawn of the President's Mansion on the campus of UA. The event is free for kids 12 and under, and is scheduled for 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. (or until all the eggs are gone!)

The Tuscaloosa Belles are hosting an Easter Egg Hunt Sunday, March 29, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the historic Battle-Friedman House downtown. Admission is $5 for adults; the first two children per family get in free, and each child after is $2. In addition to the egg hunt, there will be a petting zoo, games for the kids, a raffle for adults, and an appearance from the Easter Bunny.

CHOM will host its annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza on Friday, April 3. The indoor egg hunt will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Admission is free for members;  non-member kids under 1 will be admitted free; admission for kids 1 to 3 is $6. Guests 3-59 will be charged $9, and guests over 60 will be charged $7.
