What's the secret to my flawless skin? It's time for me to come clean. Literally. (What? Y'all know I love a good pun.)

My favorite face mask is Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask. It is like $4 at Wal-Mart and even cheaper at Rite-Aid, and I COULD NOT and WILL NOT live without it. Before I tell you how incredible this stuff is, please take a moment to appreciate the retro vibe of the product packaging.

Yes, my bathroom has Ladybird Pink tile. It is baller. What I really want y'all to know about the pic above is the SIZE of the tube. Use my weird man hands for scale and you can see what an insane value this mask truly is. It's $4 for 8 ounces. That's like FIFTY CENTS an ounce.

Mint Julep Mask is cheap, but I am here to spread the word: IT WORKS. It works like nothing else. Let me preach to you, okay? Let me testify that when my combination skin gets congested and my pores get more full than my cart at a Target clearance sale, Queen Helene saves me.

Seriously: this mask delivers. It uses kaolin and bentonite, two different forms of clay, to draw impurities from your pores and help dry up acne. I love that the Mint Julep Mask has a fresh minty scent. It's super refreshing and smells great--but don't let the minty sweetness deceive you: Mint Julep Mask also contains sulfur--a key ingredient for clearing blemishes.

I mean, really--for what more can you ask? It's FOUR DANG DOLLARS and, to me, it works just as well as other fancy pants masks that cost 15 times as much.
