Pep rally, bonfire, and parade are among the popular events scheduled for Alabama's 2014 Homecoming Week! Here's a quick snapshot of the what, when and where for the week to help you make your plans, and Roll Tide!

Sunday (Nov. 16th):

  • The Crimson Kickoff Powder Puff Football Competition, benefiting the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, will be from 10am to 4pm at UA Recreation Fields.
  • Annual Roll Tide Run. Registration and check-in will be at the rear of Gorgas Library at 3pm, and the race will begin at 4:15pm on Capstone Drive on the UA campus.

Monday (Nov. 17th):

  • Paint the Town Red material pickup will be from 1 to 4pm. Students may show their UA school spirit across Tuscaloosa. Students may pick up materials at the Ferguson Center SGA Office. Judging will be at 1pm Thursday (Nov. 20th).

Tuesday (Nov. 18th):

  • Homecoming Queen Elections will be from 7am to 7pm. A basketball tournament starts at 5:45pm at the Rec. Center.
  • LifeSouth Blood Drive will be from 10am to 4pm behind Gorgas Library or in room 301 of the Ferguson Center.

Wednesday (Nov. 19th):

  • LifeSouth Blood Drive will be from 10am to 4pm behind Gorgas Library or in room 301 of the Ferguson Center.
  • The CanFormation event and judging will be from 2 to 5pm, in the Ferguson Center Ballroom.
  • The Choreography Competition will be at 6pm in Coleman Coliseum.

Friday (Nov. 21st):

  • Bonfire and pep rally will be at 6pm on the UA Quad
  • National Pan-Hellenic Council Step Show will be at 8:30pm in Coleman Coliseum. For event tickets, click here.

Saturday (Nov. 22nd):

  • Homecoming Parade will begin at 10:30am in downtown Tuscaloosa and move eastward along University Boulevard through the UA campus.
  • All Alabama alumni, friends and fans are invited to attend Tailgatin’ with the Tide BBQ Under the Big Top brunch on the Quad three hours before kickoff. Tickets are $15 each and may be bought in advance, click here.
  • Alabama vs. Western Carolina football game is set for 3pm at Bryant-Denny Stadium. UA will crown the 2014 Homecoming Queen during halftime, and the Student Government Association Homecoming Committee will award the traditional Spirit Cup to the student group that receives the most spirit points during Homecoming Week.
